Art Museum is formerly St.Joseph's Institution, which
is one of Singapore's finest colonial structures. It
exhibits modern art of Singapore and traditional art
of Southeast Asia. The E-mage Gallery featuring the
interactive programs involving the 20th century Southeast
Asian art on large high definition visual monitors,
is one of the main attractions of the museum. It is

This museum explores the rich heritage
of the Singapore People. The
museum traces the trends and developments that have
characterized life in Singapore from the ethnic and
religious diversity and the struggle for nationhood
from as early as the 14th century. This museum hosts
"The Singapore Story- Overcoming the Odds" which is
the only 3D show in town that represents the history
of Singapore through animation, virtual sets and historical

Navy Museum
The
development of the naval forces in Singapore can be
traced from the straits settlement royal naval volunteer
reserve of the 19th century to today's republic if Singapore
navy. Antique Marine Equipment, historic photographs,
and the details of the sophisticated, high technology
missile corvette vessels of the current navy are some
of the other items of interest. It is located in Endurance

which is located in the east of the Boon Lay MRT station,

Prison Chapel and Museum
This
museum
displays the record of the daily life of the prisoners
through paintings, sketches and photographs. Also it
features a pair of rail spikes from the infamous Burma
railroad. A replica of the Chapel built during the Second
World War is situated next to the museum. It stands
as a tribute to the men who lived and died in captivity
during the war. It is located in upper changi road north

The
development of Singapore Air Force Museum can be traced
from its early days to the present. It showcases the
colonial cap badges, bloodhound missiles and artifacts

Philatelic Museum
This
museum has a fine collection of both local and international
stamps. It is an enchanting place for the stamp collectors.
But it also attracts the non-stamp collectors through
its portrays of multi-ethnic Singapore through stamps,
postcards and visuals. There is a very clear and vivid
illustration of the intricate process leading to a stamp
issue right from artwork through printing plates and
progressive sheets to the final product. This museum
